By accessing or using CommissionGuard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CommissionGuard is a commission-statement reconciliation platform for insurance agencies. It lets you upload carrier commission statements (PDF, CSV, or Excel), automatically extracts the line items, and reconciles them against your expected commissions to identify missing, underpaid, duplicate, and rate-variance commissions. The Service is provided by Seven Alpha Labs.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload malicious files or code
• Upload data you do not have the right to use or process
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or agencies
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

5. Content and Data

You retain ownership of all statements and data you upload to the Service. By using CommissionGuard, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your statements or data.

6. No Professional Advice

CommissionGuard is a software tool that helps you identify potential commission discrepancies. It does not provide legal, accounting, tax, or financial advice, and its output is not a substitute for your own review. You are responsible for verifying findings before acting on them or contacting a carrier.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

9. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor. Free trials convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

10. Results and Performance Disclaimer

Statistics, outcomes, customer results, recovered or identified commissions, time savings, and other performance metrics referenced anywhere on this website or in the Service are based on the experiences of specific customers in specific operating environments and are presented for illustrative purposes only. They are not guarantees, projections, or predictions of future results, and they should not be relied on as an indication that any particular agency, agent, or user will achieve the same or similar outcomes. Actual results vary based on many factors, including but not limited to carrier mix, the format and volume of commission statements, policy and payment data completeness, reconciliation workflows, data quality, and how CommissionGuard is configured and used. Nothing on this website or in the Service constitutes a representation, warranty, or commitment regarding any specific result.

11. Accuracy and No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We assume no liability for the accuracy or completeness of any information imported, extracted, calculated, displayed, or stored in the platform, and you remain responsible for independently verifying figures against your carrier statements and records before acting on them.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CommissionGuard and Seven Alpha Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
